My name is Ryan Muhl and I am a designer, husband, father, athlete, dreamer, Capricorn, creator and brand maker, ready to bring your brand vision to life. Ever since I was a kid I had a vision for what my future was going to look like. I was going to be an architect, designing the worlds coolest buildings that had everyone talking about them for decades. It was a Frank Lloyd Wright-like dream that just felt right. I was also going to be an athlete, someone who played a pivotal role in bringing home a trophy for their family, team, or even country. I was going to be a family man, a loving husband and amazing father to my children and have the most amazing family a guy could ask for. It is these 3 facets that are the true foundation of who I am, why I chose to pursue graphic design over architecture and what you will get from me as my client...

Growing up I always knew I wanted to be a designer. In elementary school, as everyone knows, you write a piece about "what you want to be when you grow up". The vision I had for myself was to be an architect who designed incredible spaces for people to experience. Earning my degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) I felt like I needed to fulfill more of a design-centric role with my skillset and so I received a minor in Graphic Design. It was at RPI that I developed a passion for graphics and visual design. Design at RPI taught me a lot of things. How you visually represent a project matters, strong storytelling can create incredible pieces and always be forward thinking when making something new. I have spent the last 10 years working for world-renowned design firms as well as growing a freelance clientele for graphic design. 2024 has given me the opportunity to leave architecture behind and pursue Brand/ Visual Design full time. Architecture and Graphic design are very similar in that whether your designing in 2D or 3D your creating an experience that makes people feel something they never felt before. My goal is to take my unique background and provide my clients with an experience that puts their vision in all dimensions.

Sports have always been a part of my life since I was born. Growing up I was a part of some of the best teams in the state of Pennsylvania. Basketball, Track & Field, Soccer and above all football, going to 2 State Championships and winning a state title my Senior Year. Football took me to RPI where my athletic career took a backseat to to my design future but was then picked back up for a year when i moved down to Dallas, Texas where i played a year of semi-professional Football. I know have found a new passion of sport in Curling and sit as the communications board member for the DFW Curling Club. It is a culmination of all those years of playing multiple sports with incredible friends I call family that drove me to success as a player and teammate. What I have learned from my sports background is Emulating this type of environment will help drive better design and an incredibly collaborative effort to create a product that is unmatched by other designers. To me, my clients are critical to the design process, which means you are going to get the product you want and deserve.

I grew up in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, within a loving middleclass family that provided everything a kid could want. The front door was always open to extended family and friends and holidays were always packed with smiles and laughs. It was this foundation that led me to create my own family and build a new foundation of love and happiness. I now reside and work in Grand Prairie, Texas with my amazing wife and 2 children. They are what keep me motivated to work hard everyday as well as set the example of the kind of atmosphere I want to emulate in my business values. My family is my everything and I want to bring that energy to your vision and have it flow throughout the design process.
